Durban 70.3 delivered

Well done to IRONMAN South Africa for putting on a great Durban 70.3 on 6 June despite Covid level two lockdown.

The group starts did feel weird. I am used to the chaos of the masses.

Being in the second-last group to start meant I could sleep in a little. I did miss the usual sunrise start though.

At one point on the ride I could see nobody in front of me - no, I am not that fast or slow.

The sight of a fellow Ironman 4 the Kidz South Africa athlete brought on a sense of pride knowing we were doing our little part in uplifting the lives of youth in some communities.
